Stamford Races 1849 - Admission Ticket to the Red Stand on Thursday July 19th 1849

Stamford Racecourse was on Wittering Heath, this ticket was for one of the temporary stands erected for race days. The permanent stone-built Grandstand survives, all be it rebuilt as a permanent residence at the east end of Racecourse Road. The ticket is 90mm by 60mm.
